Bubble Poke Review: A Simple Puzzle Game

Reviewing Process
Writing a review for our project means being a professional. This particular review was provided by the author that has beeen managing the app for 15 hours, no less, and checked its functionality on all the platforms it was released for.

Bubble Poke is a game where you have to place colorful balls in a line to collect them and get more points. There are two game modes. For now, more than 10 million people have downloaded this game on their Android devices. You can download Bubble Poke on your iOS and Android gadgets.

Bubble Poke Gameplay 4/5

The Bubble Poke gameplay is simple and common for all puzzle games. There are a lot of colorful balls, and your mission is to place them in a line in order to destroy them and get some points. There are green, blue, yellow, red, and dark-blue bubbles. To destroy the line, you have to place at least three bubbles of the same color in a row. You cannot chaotically move the balls.

There are two game modes in Bubble Poke: classic and levels. In classic mode, all you have to do is to destroy balls and get the score. The number of balls is endless. You can undo your actions by pressing the UNDO button that is located at the top of the screen. Another mode allows you to finish many levels in Bubble Poke. You can earn from 1 to 3 stars while playing. These stars show you how well you have finished the level. To complete it, you should destroy all the balls or, at least, the most of them. There are many levels, and it will take some time to finish them all.

Bubble Poke Graphics 2/5

The Bubble Poke graphics are plain. The bubbles are nicely detailed, but the animation of moving is poor. There are no objects on the background. It is static, and it makes the game boring. The only thing you will see is a great number of bubbles on a foreground. The graphics are boring. Nevertheless, you will get used to them.

Bubble Poke Sounds 2/5

There is no music in this game. The main menu and the game process will last in total silence. While playing, all you will hear is a breaking bubbles sound. It does not change during the gameplay. The sounds are poor and unrealistic.

Controls 2/5

The controls are difficult because the bubble you tapped does not become highlighted. It is hard to understand which bubble you have chosen. You may get used to these controls after a few levels, but sometime it may be complicated to play Bubble Poke.

Replay Value 1/5

Most likely you will not start replaying this game. It is simple, but most importantly, it may become boring in a very short time. The levels are not difficult, and most of them are the same.

In Conclusion

It’s also important to say in this Bubble Poke review, that the game may be boring because of the static background, poor animation, and lack of sounds. The animation is not smooth. There is no music in this game. It looks like the controls are easy, but in fact, it is hard to understand how it works.
