Looney Tunes Dash Review – Endless running with Bugs Bunny
Looney Tunes Dash is a completely new type of runner by Zynga which already deserves to be tried out simply because it has Bugs Bunny and other great characters from your childhood. The game is available for both Android and iOS, so downloading Looney Tunes Dash would be a great idea to get that nostalgic feel back.
Looney Tunes Dash Gameplay 4.5/5
You’ll start the game as Bugs Bunny, who is being chased by Elmer, the hunter just like in the famous animation series. Later though you’ll be able to play this game in the role of other great characters such as The Road Runner, Coyote, and others. The basic concept is quite simple and doesn’t differ from other runners. There’s an enemy that chases you, and you have to run faster in order to not get caught. Surroundings won’t be helpful to you either as there are lots of obstacles just waiting to stop you.
Looney Tunes Dash Graphics 5/5
Graphics deserve an honorable mention in terms of this Looney Tunes Dash review. They are very detailed. In fact, they’re so detailed that if you’re attentive enough, then you’ll notice various references from the original series such as ACME food products. The levels are quite colorful, and it’s impossible to say that they’re dull. It’s also nice to see familiar characters like The Tasmanian Devil or Porky Pig messing around.
Looney Tunes Dash Sounds 5/5
The game has really managed to impress us with its acoustics as well. If you’re familiar with Looney Tunes than you’ll recognize those good old memories fast enough. They bring back beautiful nostalgic feelings and remind about the childhood with the voices of your favorite characters. It shows a good example of how the game based on old cartoons should look like today.
The control scheme is pretty basic for every runner, you get a couple of lanes that you can run on and to switch between them, you have to move your finger across the screen. Swipe left or right to not hit that branch or stop sign and you’re good to go. As it doesn’t require any complex mechanics even a child can figure out how to play it.
Replay Value 3.5/5
Replaying a level may be very dull because the requirements are very strict. In addition to that, you don’t get infinite levels to run here. All of them have an ending point sooner or later. That really cuts the replay value of the game and makes it less challenging.
The game successfully utilizes famous characters in different ways which keeps the gameplay quite entertaining and fun. Graphics and sounds are enjoyable and will make the overall experience much more pleasant. However, the game does get a bit dull because of the strict objectives that you have to follow. It compensates though by the fact that levels are very diverse and keep the interest for long enough.
That’s all folks! The game is fun to play and you might actually enjoy it. Download Looney Tunes Dash if you’re Ok with classic runners and love the old cartoon series.
