Fortnite Review: Only Toughest Survive
One of the most popular games on the market has come to smartphones. In fact, you can download Fortnite not only to your iPhone but to almost every possible operating system no matter if it’s a phone, pc or console. It’s only up to you if you have what it takes to remain the last one standing.
Fortnite Gameplay 5/5
Fortnite provides the classic Battle Royale experience. The match starts when 100 people join the lobby. Then everyone parachutes himself from the flying bus and lands on a bounded area which shrinks even more over time. When touched the ground you’re on your own now. Losing time means death so better start searching for gear and eliminating other competitors until you’ll remain the last one standing. You can even build different structures here and fortify your position. One thing why this game is beloved by so many players is that it’s build up around choosing the right strategy and allows you to find the style that fits you the most.
Fortnite Graphics 4.5/5
This Fortnite review would be incomplete if we wouldn’t compare it with one of its most popular competitors – PUBG. Although there are very many similarities between the two games, graphics are one of the main distinctions. Here the visuals are so clean and cartoonish that even killing rivals doesn’t look as something cruel and brutal. When you hit your opponents, they simply disappear. In the free time between killing and searching for loot, you can enjoy beautiful cross-country views with forests, lakes, and mountains.
Fortnite Sounds 4.5/5
Every gun and action in the game has its own sound. Those are very qualitative and doesn’t differ from effects that can be met in top-notch shooters. In fact, sounds play an essential role in finding out where rivals hide so better get yourself decent headphones if you want to have an advantage.
Controls are thoroughly worked out. If you’re a new player, then you’ll be amazed by how easily and quickly more experienced players build structures during a shootout and fly over the map. It may be little confusing in the beginning, but you’ll get used to it soon enough. A little bit harder it is to control the game if you’re playing on a smartphone. The gunfights aren’t that smooth and require more skill.
Replay Value 5/5
The game is very interactive, and it’s easy to lose in time when playing it. Remaining the last one isn’t an easy task, and you’ll have to constantly improve your strategy if you want to achieve your cherished goal. Rich gameplay, cross-platform concept, and constant updates make the replay value very high.
Fortnite is undoubtedly a great experience. It set the high bar for other Battle Royale games by combing survival and building options as well as being completely free. Sounds and controls fit it perfectly, and amazing gameplay makes you want to come back again and again. Definitely, a must-play if you enjoy competitive and not very demanding shooters.
We definitely recommend you to try out this game. You can easily download Fortnite onto PC, Xbox, PS4, Android, and iOS.
